Texas Children's Hospital officially opened the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute (NRI), the world's first basic research institute dedicated to childhood neurological diseases. The facility, designed by Perkins+Will and located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center in a 13-floor research tower, aims to increase the pace of discoveries by pioneering a multidisciplinary research approach to the complex challenge of understanding brain development and function.
