Anthony Fieldman is an architect and principal in the New York office where he directs the design of architectural projects around the world. His work crosses a broad spectrum of markets and includes airports, museums, hotels, schools, commercial office, retail and residential architecture.

As a generalist, Anthony believes that architects are fundamentally experts in the process of creatively solving problems. He avoids working in any particular style, preferring instead to lead each new opportunity with research into the specific cultural, environmental and programmatic context of that project and to allow that research to define a unique architectural solution. Anthony places great importance on resisting aesthetic decisions until his investigations have revealed what is exceptional to each building, space or campus and how those latent qualities can be harnessed to demonstrate a clear architectural point of view that ultimately improves the lives of his building’s inhabitants.

Anthony's buildings have earned recognition in more than 30 awards programs across three continents and have been exhibited internationally including at the Venice Biennale and the National Building Museum. In the last year alone, he has won three Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) awards, four American Institute of Architects (AIA) awards, honors at both the World Architecture Festival (WAF) and World Architecture News (WAN), had a proposal for a more sustainable New Orleans published in Newsweek Magazine and had two projects on exhibit at New York City’s Center for Architecture's ‘Innovate: Integrate’ exhibit. He has designed more than 75 buildings in 17 countries.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as well as a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rhode Island School of Design. He also received a diploma from the Studio Art Centers International (SACI), Florence, Italy.
