Mary Jo, a design principal in the Dundas studio, works closely with clients, users and all stakeholders in the project to ensure functional and aesthetic requirements are realized in a timely, effective way. She has a strong interest in integrating building architecture, landscaping and interiors into unique, site-specific design responses. She co-founded Vermeulen Hind Architects in 1992 where she led the design for numerous healthcare and oncology projects.

Mary Jo graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1982 from Carleton University, Ottawa, and was an Ontario Association of Architects Gold Medalist.
