Ray is known as an enthusiastic advocate for standard-setting project design, systems integration and client coordination. With over a quarter-century of experience, he is recognized for collaborative work on such prestigious domestic and international projects as London's famed Canary Wharf Financial Center, the three million square foot, 88-story Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai, Vila Olimpica in Barcelona and the 1.3 million square foot Korean Air Operations Center at Kimpo International Airport, Seoul, Korea. Landmark Chicago projects include ABN AMRO Plaza, Bank One Corporate Center, the Corporate Center of Northbrook, the River Bend Residential and Mixed-Use Development and One South Dearborn. Ray is a frequent keynote presenter and the current Chairman of the Chicago Committee on High Rise Buildings and Chair of the AIA Chicago Large Firm Roundtable. He has also been actively involved with the Construction Industry Affairs Committee of Chicago, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the Urban Land Institute and the American Institute of Steel Construction.
