Richard Grubbs is the K-12 Education Market Sector Leader for the North Carolina offices. Over his 25-year career, he has served as project architect and project manager on numerous K-12, higher education and commercial projects. His approach to architecture is thorough and focused and he is involved with project planning, design and construction documents. Richard is a team advocate and enjoys collaboration.

Richard attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science degree. He serves on the Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement Technical Advisory Board and is the current Chair of the Charlotte chapter of the Building Enclosure Council (BEC), a component activity under the National Institute of Building Sciences Building Enclosure Technology and Environment Council.
