Green and Clean
Greater regulation, more environmentally friendly building materials and new architectural styles are encouraging airports to clean up their acts.
Around the world, in many areas of building design, construction and operation, there is a broad awareness and growing commitment to environmental responsibility. Indeed in the airport sphere many airport authorities now have a requirement in their design contracts that terminal buildings be designed to meet a certain level of environmental certification.
