The Presidio Trust site
The Presidio in San Francisco is now a spectacular national park after generations of serving as a military site. Perkins+Will has a long and ongoing history with the Presidio; we spearheaded the initial reuse plan and have continued to lead multiple adaptive reuse projects including Presidio Landmark, where we've converted a historic military hospital into San Francisco's most spectacular new rental units.
Uniquely, this park is required to become self-supporting. Administrating the park's interests is the Presidio Trust, which maintains a site including multiple documents, guides, and information about all the latest developments within the area.
