The Anschutz Cancer Pavilion is the first in a series of facilities built on this campus. The cancer pavilion, in conjunction with the master plan, establishes the material palette and vernacular for the campus. The new campus design is representative of the Colorado region and incorporates the architectural tenets, guidelines and materials of the master plan that we also completed. The primary mission of the facility is to provide the highest quality patient care and research. Patients have access to state-of-the-art cancer and urology care by the integration of clinical research facilities and staff with primary cancer and urologic patient services.

The new center provides comprehensive services for the outpatient care and treatment of cancer and urology patients. The facility houses multidisciplinary activities including outpatient exam and special procedure areas for hematology/oncology, surgical oncology, orthopedic oncology and gynecology; chemotherapy and infusion therapy; radiation therapy; breast center with related screening; clinical investigation, prevention, screening and tumor registry programs. Clinical support services essential to cancer treatment include a clinical lab, pathology, pharmacy and imaging. Patient support services include education, psychology and social services.
