Crate & Barrel wanted a clean, modern design in keeping with its simple, yet savvy houseware and furniture products. We transplanted the company's signature international image to Crate & Barrel's new 24-acre wooded location.

Extensive use of glass and courtyards open the interior to the outdoor landscape. A sweeping curved roof "floats" above the office areas, celebrating the second floor merchandising hall, the symbolic center of the company. A glass bay projecting into the landscape from the end of each wing houses conference and gathering rooms. Supreme design integrity, clean lines and a classic modernist twist of blazing white walls and ribbon windows create a testament to Crate & Barrel's uncomplicated brand and global image.
