We provided design services for a freestanding cancer center on the Cabell Huntington Hospital campus in Huntington, West Virginia, which is also on the campus of the Marshall University School of Medicine. This outpatient facility is a major referral center for both adults and pediatric oncology patients in the region.

The 2-story, 50,000 square foot facility includes both radiation and medical oncology. It also includes a Women's Imaging Center, which provides breast-screening services to the community. General imaging, lab and pharmacy services dedicated to oncology programs are also included.

We designed the facility for vertical expansion to accommodate future inpatient oncology beds or other related services.
