This 45,000 square foot facility is connected to an existing YMCA day care center. The program includes a natatorium, fitness area, child watch/teen center and change rooms. Future expansion will provide a gymnasium and splash park.

The design allows for the construction of the new building without major alteration or impact on the existing building. A common court with a dramatic curved glass wall provides a shared space between the buildings and preserves the windows of the existing day care. From the street, the building provides an engaging sight of the pool and main entry. Internally, a central hall allows views and circulation into the pool and child areas as well as the above fitness area.
