North Carolina State Centennial Campus
Raleigh, North Carolina
Completion Date: 2001
Square Footage: 900,000

North Carolina State University charged us with the task of relocating their College of Engineering (COE) from a variety of existing buildings on their main campus to their Centennial Campus, an advanced technology community for university industry and government partners located approximately two miles from the center of the main campus.

We determined the phasing of the entire transfer, including the construction timetable of new construction and renovations of the vacated spaces. We prepared a comprehensive master plan, program and phasing plan for the entire College of Engineering. This included an analysis of all current spaces/uses and a statement for comprehensive needs projected for the future. The master plan, program and master site plan addressed the physical requirements for providing infrastructure for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electricity and telephone/data.
