We were selected as the interior design firm for the programming, building test fit analysis and full service interior design including all new furnishings for the relocation of the Houston offices of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan. Building on our existing relationship and knowledge of Sutherland, our Atlanta office teamed with our Houston offices to quickly analyze the market and review the real estate requirements on a fast track basis.

Although standards were established for Sutherland through the Atlanta practice, the concepts, design and materials are about the culture and the practice of the Houston attorneys. Local stones, woods and leather were considered for the public areas with a layout and views through the
building lobby spaces to the downtown skyline. Existing conditions to minimize cost and time were also part of the design considerations. The client wanted the space to be warm and inviting, not ostentatious, yet indicative of the stability of their law practice to the downtown community.
