This 3-story building houses design studios and faculty offices for the School of Architecture and the Departments of Landscape Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning. It is a working example of the craft of architecture, a physical representation of the integration of landscape, urban planning and architectural elements.

There are four discreet elements arranged around an internal public space that include two rectilinear loft-like spaces housing studio and department offices, a curved glass volume with faculty offices and the central interior atrium formed by the building volumes. The atrium is the heart of the community and a visual link to the exterior courtyard. Bridges, open stairs and corridors link studios and offices and encourage interaction among students and faculty. A 4-story media wall along the north wall is designed for indoor and outdoor audiovisual presentations.
